2021 Kia Forte vs 2021 Kia K5
Serving Gainesville, FL
With Kia’s reputation for producing well-engineered vehicles packed with desired features, you understandably are focused on the 2021 Forte and the 2021 K5 today. Today’s Forte is a third-generation compact car. The K5 is a midsize sedan that is a reimagined version of the outgoing Optima. At Jenkins Kia of Gainesville, we are honored to be a part of your car research and assist with your new car purchase.
Performance
The exciting differences between these two models begin with their capabilities. The Kia Forte receives 201 horsepower from its 2.0-liter MPI engine. With its small size and excellent handling, the 2021 Forte is a fun car to drive through Gainesville and beyond. The larger Kia K5 has a 1.6-liter Smartstream engine that delivers 290 horsepower. With a higher torque rating and more horsepower, the Kia K5’s performance abilities leave no room for disappointment.
Appearance
These sedans have a few familial traits in common, but they are excitingly different. The 2021 Kia Forte’s exterior has a relatively tall stance with a dramatic flow from front to rear. The automatic headlights are sharply angled, and they are separated from the small, bow-like grille. This model also has 17-inch wheels with a graphite finish, a spoiler, a power sunroof, and other features in some or all trims. In contrast, the 2021 Kia K5 has a long, aerodynamic body with dramatic angles through the roof and hood. The headlights have a lightning bolt-like design, and they are integrated with the elongated grille. Other exterior features are 19-inch wheels, LED turn signal indicators, LED foglamps, solar control glass, a spoiler, and more.
Features
If you plan to spend ample time on the road in your next Kia sedan, you will appreciate the spaciousness and overall thoughtful range of features in both vehicles. The 2021 Forte’s amenities include SOFINO material, a D-shaped steering wheel, heated seats, climate management, and more. The K5’s features include a dual-zone auto climate control system, sport seats with heat, a sport steering wheel, and other items.
